Manchester restaurants 13:53 - Sep 21 with 3562 views | E17hoop | I'm travelling a lot in my job and spending 1-2 nights in Manchester most weeks. Where is good to eat? I'll happily try anything except for Thai...peanut and coconut are the devil's spawn.

Manchester restaurants on 15:24 - Sep 21 with 3467 views | Lblock | Avoid Gaucho..... lovely building but terrible food and service. In fact it may already have been chopped by Gaucho administrators Great city with good eateries; I like Australasia in Deansgate
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

Another vote for Mr Thomas. Alabama diner is good for a blowout late breakfast (but long waits at the weekend). Scrub Bama, it burned down in the summer! [Post edited 21 Sep 2018 15:45]

Have you sampled the delights of Rusholme yet? I lived up there off on over ten years in the 90s/00s. Getting home from town always a mare. So one night a few chums and I took the student bus to Rusholme, had a curry and when we came outside, couldn’t move for cab options! Curry mile, get on it!

So far I've done: An all you can eat Chinese buffet Turkish on Deansgate Greek near St Peter's Square Las Iguanas on Deansgate Hotel in-house (bleurgh) The chains are all the same so I'm keen to try anything outside that.

Manchester restaurants on 16:16 - Sep 21 with 3382 views | Toast_R | You have go to try Crazy Pedro's Pizza Parlour at least once. The MacDaddy Pizza is a thing of beauty. Basically a pizza with McDonalds Big Mac inspired toppings. It sounds weird but it works.

I've seen that place - wasn't sure what it's like.

Otherwise the French, Manchester house and Tattoo were all top draw and enjoyed Australasia though quite loud music. If you are a foodie then where the light gets in- in Stockport gets rave critic reviews but the one time I’ve been thought was over priced for what it was. Might have caught it on an off night.

Manchester restaurants on 14:50 - Sep 24 with 2823 views | robith | Went to Manchester a few years ago for my wife's best friend's 30th birthday. He's from a Pakistani family so I suspected they'd pick a banger, but I realised how serious they took it when one of his cousins bemoaned to me that due to others being booked we were only going to the 4th best restaurant on the curry mile. Love Manchester, vibey
