Not sure the 'Blackpool' thread counts as a match thread, so have started a bona fide one!

Who knows what the score/team will be.

I'll go for 1-2 I'm sorry to say

I think so.

Norwich out pressed us, which is kind of acceptable from another Champ team. 'Pool look just as good pressing us, but I suspect we are making them look good.

Seeing Matt Smith out there now and comparing him to Hemed and Wells shows just how poor he is at holding the ball up. Nothing is sticking and although Chair is trying hard, nothing is coming off for him.

Does anyone remember when losing to lower div teams was embarrassing and not the norm. Big turn round needed here even if it is only 1-0

Can we go out yet?

The ironic thing you just know, know , know that we will still get beat at Swansea on Saturday so resting our best players is a total and utter waste of time!

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

Think we have more here than they do, shambolic first half. Genuinely terrible.

I really can't believe that team we've put out tonight. OK some players may have needed to be 'rested' but most should have played - and at least put some more experienced players on the bench, if needed. We've put out stronger teams in the under 23s!!

Sounded a completely dire first half - and we normally get worse in second halves ....

Madness. You progress in the cup and put a side out that hasn't even played an academy game together. You leave out Sylla who can't even get a bench place. What are we concentrating in the Championship. Lower table mediocrity? Rubbish...

Obviously if we come back and win this team selection is inspired.

Never knowingly right.

Was thinking of going to Reading next week, not sure I can be arsed now. When you're clearly going to finish mid-table, why wouldn't you go out to win every cup tie you play? Argh, it's so annoying.

Yes, what has happened to Sylla? Surely, we're still paying his wages?

Something positive. We've had our second attempt on goal. Kakay from outside the box.

I've got no idea what the thinking is behind this team and this attitude to the cup.

It's pretty much saying to everybody out there "right, you're the stiffs and I'm leaving my proper players at home, this is just a distraction", drummed home by the fact that last time out BOS destroyed Bristol Rovers and hasn't got near the first team since.

Getting to a quarter final would be amazing for the club, a good day out to lighten up the Championship grind, and it's hardly a big f--king risk to bring along a few players like Eze/Wells etc to sit on the bench if needed. And why the f--k isn't Smyth starting.

Pisses me off
