In need of some reading material for an end of summer holiday, I picked up a copy of "The Away Game" by Sebastian Abbot.

I hadn't previously heard of the author, and the subject matter was something I had never heard of.

It seems the Quataris have been running a footballing talent search across the Whole of Africa since 2006.

Absolutely jaw dropping scale of operation and when taking the subsequent bid for the World Cup into account, hugely interesting.

Highly recommended.
