Great preview as always, agree with you on Hurst and Ipswich's laudable change of philosophy and think the comparison between Holloway's limited but higher scoring strikers and McClaren's expensive goalshy forwards is an interesting one.

If, in the first couple of months last season when the wingbacks formation was working quite well, we had had Wells and Hemed (or players of their quality) up front instead of Mackie and Washington I wonder what might've been, and if Holloway would still be here.
