Does anyone it's name or where I can find a recording? Big part of my QPR experience as a child and I'd like to play it to my children now.
My boy, 3, crawled into our bed this morning and woke us with 'QPR, QPR, queens park rangers are on the up and up...'. Made me think of it again. Can't find it on YouTube.

Do you mean this one? I remember it in the 70s. Maybe it clung on into the early 80s. Sort of like a Wimpey (as in knickerbocker-glory) version of The Sweet.
Btw: great Rs slideshow to accompany this. Well done Chris Guy (whoever you are).

Not the one, but that's brilliant, thanks. The one I'm thinking of didn't have words. It was just a chirpy ditty thing - do be do be do do, do be do be do do etc. Like a tinny version of pig bag

Try this one:
Forgot that one. Brings back memories of my first visits to Loftus Road. I can see the blue track suits with the big white chevron. But it also reminds me of this ...

I notice that the first slide of that vid shows the record label and the songwriter being Bruce Thomas. The same Bruce Thomas who was the bass player in The Attractions perchance?
Flynnbo you're a star. That's the one. It definitely sounded better at the time, with Allen, Goddard, Gillard, Currie, roeder etc running out to it. Cheers

I think we should run out to the Adagio for strings from Mahler's 5th. That would befit our lofty league position.
