Dunno where we go from here. EU saying Brexit day can't be postponed, so we either leave without a deal or stay in for good. That won't go down well with half population.

When you are the PM that does not want to leave the EU, take a deal to Parliament you know will get rejected
The whole thing is a scam cooked up by May and the EU hoping they can get another Referendum as they did with Irland.

That’s exactly what I said the other day, Europe don’t want us to leave, 3/4 of our MP’s don’t want us to leave so they have cooked up a crap deal hoping people will say “ oh well we’re better off staying in”

Do people really buy into this conspiracy nonsense that all this work was a secret plan to stay in the EU, is just complete nonsense
May's deal delivered on what many voted for but that still wasn't good enough and no one seems to have an alternative. She's getting slaughtered by both sides yet no one else has had the balls to stand up and try and deliver on leave.
Corbyn has just used this to try and get into number 10 and i think that will blow up in his face tomorrow, he's been diabolical since the last election believing his own hype.
I'm sick of it all but it will drag on for years

What? How can it go wrong for him? What has he got to lose?
If he wins, it's number ten for him (probably)
If he loses, fvck all happens.

Time for a no deal. Bollôcks to the EU intransigence. Keep the £39billion that will then start to concentrate their minds. Irish backstop is a load of shîte. 99% of our WTO trade is custom checked by computers. Too many people want to talk this country down and that leaving the EU would be a huge disaster, funny how countries like Canada, Australia and many others can thrive without being tied into the EU and yet for some reason we can’t! Of course we can and we would. This country has a history of reinventing itself and punching above its weight. The EU are just so fearful of seeing the U.K. succeed because the next to go will be the Italians followed by the French. The great European experiment is on the verge.

Do you really think he'll win an election? I don't think thats as certain as he seems to. He didn't win the last one. By doing this now many will see him voting this deal as him trying to gain power rather than doing what is best for the country.
I mean i saw him oN Andrew Marr and his plan on Brexit should he get in was stuff of fantasies, only left out the bit about him flying to Brussels on a unicorn.
If he loses vote tomorrow where does he go, no election for another 3 years at least. I think he's misjudged the situation

Watching events from the US. You really could not write the political shambles unfolding on both sides of the Atlantic over the past two years. At least the mid-terms have halted Trump, although he is now playing brinkmanship with the US people on his wall. It’s all nonsense and just about him and headlines. Interestingly the tide is turning against him and a young, promising and capable democrat called Beto O’ Rourke is be strongly canvassed to run for President in 2020. This guy almost unseated Ted Cruz in Texas a Republican stronghold. As for Brexit the cast of Tories that need unseating in a general election is endless. I can’t see the Tory party turning on themselves but these are crazy times.

What has he got to lose? Have you been watching how Theresa May has been gimp slapped by everyone over the last two years??
I've no time for her, but seriously, who in their right mind would want to be PM currently? Whoever wins a GE - and for what its worth I see no way any party can win a meaningful majority - Brexit is still the only issue in town. It cannot be delivered without committing the UK to almost certain financial suicide; if it could, Rees Mogg or one of his mates would have jumped at the numerous opportunities to govern since the Referendum.
I think the only options now left are No Deal or No Brexit. One leads to economic meltdown and the other leads very likely to social meltdown. This genie cannot be put back in the bottle. There is nothing good for the country to come from any of this.Truly fcked.

You don’t think Czech spy, IRA sympathising, terrorist wreath laying, flimsy coat wearing, milk in the tea first, Jeremy Corbyn hasn’t been gimp slapped since his election as Labour leader?
Brexit is not the only issue in town. Nurses and school kids are eating out of bins, and we’ve ALL taken a relative paycut since 2008 etc.

Labour will be the biggest party at the next election. That’s all you need to be elected. 1 more seat than the Tories and we’re in.
For what it’s worth TM will probably win her NC vote by 8-10. But her stock can not get any lower than this. It’s not the only way to get a early election.

Can't see a GE producing a decisive working majority for any party until Brexit goes away.
Unless maybe Lib Dems positions themselves singularly as the party of Remain. Potentially 16 million + votes to be had, with the Leave votes split between Tories and Labour.

I agree with your sentiment, but a no deal brexit is a disaster. The reason being, we currently enjoy free trade deals with the eu, but also we benefit from 45 ish trade deals with other non eu countries that the eu has. We would lose the lot and wto tariffs which range from 3 to 40 percent would kick in. I just wished they'd voted for the deal, both of the main parties are just voting for their own vanities and not the interests of the country

I voted Remain and would not vote for the Lib Dem’s. They don’t own Remain. Uber remainers might, but they didn’t vote for them in 2017 when it was in their manifesto so why would they do it now?
They need to be the biggest party in 335 (or the most) seats not have the biggest vote share anyway. That’s how FPtP works.

When you look at the personnel on both sides of the house you realise we are up ship creek without a paddle. They are political pygmies compared to politicians of old.
People like Healey, Wilson, Butler, Crosland, McLeod etc may not have been stirring, dynamic figures but they were capable politicians and statesmen.
