THe most ridiculous and baffling fine ever was the one at Stoke.
Sure, in situations like at Fratton Park you hope 22 players can control themselves but when two blokes run onto the pitch and bundle your goalie into the net of course you’re going to wade in especially when the Stoke stewards did ferk all.

I can't see the point of everyone piling in. Especially Joe Lumley, whose view of what actually happened can only have been three metres better than mine.

Yes, Simon Royce gets attacked by a Stoke fan, our players go to protect him while the stewards stand around, we get the fine for failing to control our players. Classic.
Of course Royce has only got himself to blame for being the QPR goalkeeper.

Standard stuff - it will be a (modest) fine - especially as we only got 1 yellow card for it!
Yes, I think it's common practice to charge teams. After investigation it could then be dropped or penalties applied. I think we'll be fined, and no complaints.
Still, I like players standing up for their own as long as it doesn't get stupid. I'd be disappointed if they didn't. If we get a small fine, then so be it. The cost of doing business.
