Aye, we've been right sh*te! 18:23 - Mar 20 with 2038 views | bosh67 | Players and staff get together to talk about the dip in form. https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/qpr-call-team-meeting-to-tackle-form/ Sensible to do this. A chance to sit down, talk it through, put across views, motivate, encourage and move on. Obviously this has just happened over the last few days so no doubt it will be forgotten by the Bolton game.

Aye, we've been right sh*te! on 20:06 - Mar 20 with 1898 views | distortR | all went horribly wrong apparently. Lynch blamed Bidwell, Shteeve wouldn't let the youngsters in, Freeman got the hump and went off to do his own thing while Eze couldn't even be bothered to turn up. Wells decided to hit the bar, but missed. Scowen accused Furlong of being stand offish.

Aye, we've been right sh*te! on 00:00 - Mar 21 with 1610 views | timcocking | Well, doesn't change diddly squat. If you're low on confidence and form before the meeting, confidence and form will still be low afterwards. You can't talk your way into confidence. It's just the sort of thing that gets said nowadays to try and help avoid mass panic, but i imagine they have similar discussions 365 days a year so don't expect a miracle. The op was probably quite an accurate summation (is that a word?). 'Player X, any thoughts?' 'Yeah gaffer, we're pony. Never should have let Robbo and Chief go for an extra reserve goalkeeping coach, and also, who the hell is that geezer from the pub masquerading as our captain?' Great, all is sorted now.
Aye, we've been right sh*te! on 00:03 - Mar 21 with 1610 views | VancouverHoop | Perhaps it is, but there are different kinds of team meetings. Not sure about football but in the NHL when a team's been on a lengthy losing run. The captains will sometimes call a "players only" meeting to the clear the air, no coaches/managers allowed. This sounds like one of those. [Post edited 21 Mar 2019 0:04]
