Losing between one and two million quid per week according to my paper. Hoping to sell for a peppercorn amount in return for writing off debts. Surely they can't avoid FFP by doing this ?
Would not think so. Surely anything put in by the buyers to pay off debts cannot be classed as income and is thus still a debt for FFP purposes on the club albeit to the owners rather than third parties.
The whole ffp is a joke. Said to a forest fan in work that theyre in trouble now as theyve probably missed playoffs and ffp might be a reality. He laughed it off saying theyd sell a couple of crap players to the greek team their chairman owns for 50 mill to cover costs.

ffp is a joke, as is the whole football industry right now. If derby are losing £2 mil a week, well, it's just ridiculous and reminds you why ffp was brought in in the first place.

Great tactic. If our lot are as serious as they say (the biggest If since "if I was the richest person on the planet") , why not do that?
