Trying a new cheese ( brand to me) on 17:33 - May 15 with 1407 views | loftboy | Can’t eat any soft cheese, has to be yellow and firm. The stronger the cheddar the better, most adventurous I’ve been with cheese was in Amsterdam where I had a slice of Gouda on my fried egg and toast for breakfast!!

Trying a new cheese ( brand to me) on 01:44 - May 16 with 1242 views | timcocking | Coeur de Lion perhaps would be the market leader. You can even get that over here nowadays. It's like Anchor butter, say. You wouldn't pick it as a particularly good Brie (or Camembert), but it'll perform solidly nonetheless. A 7 out of 10. Usually, they aren't strong, rather very mild. Camembert...remember to check the strength. A ripe Camembert is not the same as an unripe one. Taste amazing, but the smell is enough to cause a divorce in most cases. A hidden Camembert once smelt so bad, it caused an actual fight on a bus trip i was on.

I was on a replacement bus service to Bognor about 20 years ago and the guy in front (I was on a slightly raised level with my girlfriend) stank of warm cheddar. After an hour I started making comments. Not sure if it was him or he had a hidden cheese in his bag. My girfriend got me to stop and he got off at Arundel. I still remember the smell and the coach journey vividly.
