Longest day of the year, the Sun beaming down here in Beddington and it is a long time since we have had a Friday Music thread (except for THE one of course)
Let's start with this. Any genre you like but summer theme or feel good poolside tunes is the criteria.

Man, i loved (still do) the Beach Boys as a young kid. My Brother's favourite. I probably knew every word of all their stuff. 'the Anaheim Azuza and Cucamonga Sewing Circle Book Review and Timing Association' being the strangest name.
My brother moved to and still lives in Malibu, i'm sure it's because of the Beach Boys. In particular, the song California Girls. David Lee-Roth once did a good video of that. Probably be illegal now.
Summer song:
I was in a club in Maanila once upon a time. Some B Boys had been doing their ludicrous dance routines much to my chagrin. During a lull in proceedings one old English man of about 60 got up and said 'you call that dancing? This is dancing...' and he proceeded to bust some serious moves to this song. He made them all look bloody stupid, although unfortunately, it was really only me who realised.
This, on the other hand, isn't a summer song, but even so...

Yeah I've always loved the Beach Boys - particularly when the sun is shining - perhaps even the greatest American band depending on your taste, although maybe not good enough to get in the UK top 5 bands. Saw them at Wembley in 1975 albeit without Brian, which seems a long time ago now.
