How annoying would it be to have paid a lot of money for a ticket only to have an attention seeking slapped perched on someone’s shoulders in front of you? I know what I would do!!

To be fair its in a fecking massive field so you could easily find somewhere else to see better!

Used to go every year it was on from mid 90s to 2011 but every year it got less appealing: seen some absolute legendary music artists there but the line up this year is mostly dire. Though there is always something going on of interest off the main stages.

Back in the day at Reading when someone did this they were met with plastic bottles till they got down. Must be worse now with the ‘Instagram’ Lot

Always preferred those sweaty gigs in a small club or the back of a pub myself. My favourite ever(at the moment anyway), was an Actifed performance in the Blue Coat Boy around the corner from the Angel one mid-week night circa '80/81.
Top boys, up the Witton....

Only went once in 2007 and it was a total mud bath. Didnt stop pissing with rain from Friday to Sunday and by the end of it, every muscle in my legs was strained from walking in sinking mud. A few Brothers Pear Ciders and it was bearable.

Did get to see Amy Winehouse in good form.

When you could buy tickets over the counter or on the door. Or jib in like we did in 89. Now you have to pay the equivalent of the GDP of a small African country , provide your photos and probably a semen sample.

I think the whole band are miming... those tunes are indistinguishable from the studio versions

The BBC's coverage is terrible: concentrating on all the 'big names' along side lots of shit guitar bands.

Isn't this the exact situation that a plastic pint pot, full to the brim with piss is for?

At any large concert if a female decide she wanted a better view , the react from those behind was an acceptable 2 little bottle of what ever fluid came to hand , seen many a fair lady smacked in the back of the head by said bottle over the years

It's having your view wrecked by some TW@T filming on their phone that really gets me. I've paid to see the band not the back of your smartphone.

Went to Reading a decade or so ago (was the weekend Ray Jones died so maybe a bit longer) and regardless of the stage people rightly got dog’s abuse for it. Seems to be accepted now with blokes doing it too at Glasto. Today’s youth don’t consider being covered in piss a just punishment for the crime, sadly.

Those flags are a bollocks aren't they? I don't really want to see that Lewis Cappaldi anyway but especially not with a big Leeds badge stuck in the middle of the screen.
