Anyone Read 'The Witcher' Books? 08:12 - Jul 31 with 933 views

I have one of the games and am going to have to wait a while for book 8 of 'The Expanse' on Paperback and I've heard these are very good.

I got a bit confused reading wiki on what is the first book/novel/compilation and is it worth reading the first short stories. (i.e do I have to)

Any help greatly received.

Great series of books. Wiki was right though in that the order of books is a bit out of sync
