Just reading through articles on Bolton Fc and their proposed take over.

Slightly shocked to see Warburtons name mentioned a few times. Close links with Basran and is rumoured to be part of the investor group, even helping identify players.

I dont know the rules around this but wouldn't it be sonQPar to have the summer we have had a great win yesterday (was there) only for the league to tell us he has to step down in August.... not sure that's even possible but if happened to anyone it would be us

Would appear he was an adviser to the FV consortium at the beginning of the year in anticipation of a DoF role when the takeover looked imminent. Can't see any evidence of a deeper participation (as an investor say) beyond that.

Bolton. Only thing that worries me about Football Ventures is football knowledge. Good backgrounds and ideas. But had Warburton for that role at first. Who does that job now? 😳Hopefully they have one.

Alan Nixon seems to confirm here in June that he was no longer involved as you'd expect.
