Except that when we broke FFP, there were words in the rules that meant you couldn't sell the ground to your owners. When the rules changed to the current ones, these words were removed.
So - then you couldn't, Now - you can.
What our 'dopey' lot got wrong was giving Neil Warnock a free hand to sign the likes of Barton, SWP and Traore, employing Phillip Beard, Mark Hughes and Harry Redknapp. [Post edited 9 Aug 2019 10:00]

Been really tough watching him turn into a wasteman since he left us. Genuinely thought he was going to turn down all moves just to stay at Southampton as they seemed to be his only aim in life
