Good football, and City lucky to be ahead with their only shot.

Rangers need another threat apart from the wide men of Eze and BOS, both of whom are doing ok, but neither of whom are laying anything on for anyone else.

True. But he has been continually fouled by Rowe and others from the start of the game, including being clattered so late that the officials totally missed it. Plenty of cheating, diving and play acting from the Bristol players in that half, primarily Afobe who falls over at the slightest touch - I expect him to "win" a penalty in the second half.

Bright lucky to just get a yellow card according to comms after a high boot in retaliation for being held back by Rowe.

They only showed one angle on the stream, but from that he was lucky.

Played well there and unlucky to be one down at the break really. BOS needs more protection but a bit lucky not to be sent off. Some nice passing, Eze playing beautifully, but as Bri says, we need a bit more goal threat. Options on the bench for that at least.

I thin we are missing Scowen's ratting further up the pitch ... little Smith is taking a while to settle and with Amos and Cameron we lack a bit of support for the front 3.

Yes. Hes been niggled at all match. Easy to say but he's got to avoid any retaliation no matter the constant fouling. Hes lucky to still be on the field. Might see him subbed at half time?

V unlucky to be 1-0 down but a bit like last year we don’t look like scoring very often.

Be good to see Eze/Bright converting their attacks into actual chances second half, they both look really dangerous but haven’t really created much

Yeah. I think maybe the ref acknowledged that by only showing him a yellow. And the fact he gave a good talking to to City players.

We do need to show more up front. Hugill needs more time than he's being allowed.
