Ok well I'll tell you anyway...

My work colleague is good friends with Angus Loughran (Statto) and they go racing together and share lots of various tips etc... Anyway, Angus phoned my colleague this morning and explained about a huuuuuge price he's been made aware of on a team to win the Portuguese Primeira Liga. They're called FC Famaliacao and have just come up as Champions. They have bought some fringe players from the likes of Benfica, Porto, Wolves and Athletico and currently sit top of the Portuguese League with 16pts out of a possible 18, having just beaten Sporting Lisbon 2-1 at the week-end. And most bookies Famaliacao are around 40-1 to win the title.

But at Sky Bet they are considerably higher....

Well a punt wouldn't hurt.

They're owned by an Israeli guy who also owns 32% of Atletico Madrid. And they just beat Sporting away, with Sebastian Coates scoring the winner. So that long price will not stick around for long.

Don't forget though that Benfica have Adel though...

A magnificent football club, the love of our lives, finding a way to finally have its day in the sun.

It was a Sebastien Coates own goal that got them the winner v Sporting Lisbon.

Bet yes, DEFFO worth a punt at...

500/1 !!!

Strange it's gone back up again.

But still, 100/1 is still worth a cheeky fiver.

Read about this club before, so some of the sporting press must have run a story as I doubt I’d ever go looking for info on them. Billionaire(well who isn’t these days?) owner but play in a stadium with a capacity of only 5307.

That is correct.

Great story and a fabulous result at Sporting that was no fluke. They're already being billed by the Portuguese media as the Portuguese Leicester. However the season is only 6 games in; they'll do well to sustain it and finish ahead of both Benfica and Porto. That said, If the price is right, it's worth a cheeky punt.

I saw my first Primeira Liga game a couple of weeks ago - Benfica vs Gil Vicente. I expected a Scottish style rollover but the Gilists (named after a playwright - top Portuguese whimsy there) were pretty decent and worth a draw.

A magnificent football club, the love of our lives, finding a way to finally have its day in the sun.
