Although not a toy, it was still a must to get over a few weeks from Shoot at the start of the football season.
Ch*ls** in Division 2. Crystal Palace and Millwall in Division 3. Reading, Brentford, and Watford in Division 4. QPR in the top tier. Things just made sense in 1975. What the fcuk happened to civilisation!?

When I was a nipper i used to get these little wooden toys from the Art shop at the western end of King Street, Hammersmith. I don't know if anyone else remembers that shop but I used to love it. As a teen I'd buy Rotring pens there for drawing cartoons and so on.

Guaranteed to be lost over next doors garden.
When I was 15 I was lucky enough to go to California on holiday. They had these frisbee rings (you see all the time now here but not back then the ones that are rings not just discs) I bought one and my brother and I managed to lose it on the very first throw when we got back to England. It went a bit further than we expected and ended up on the roof of some flats, never to be seen again.

I had some Matt Mason toys, including this alien. A little air pump made a “laser” — well, some string, actually — come out of his gun. Cutting edge technology back then!
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

When I was a teenager, one of my friends told me his little brother found their mum's v1br@tor in a drawer while she was out. He didn't know what it was and was running round the house with it switched on, pretending it was a machine gun
