Only one of a few places we are considering, going to be looking at several other parts of the country before we make a final decision.

Genuine question lb; Do you both work from home/online?! How can you spread the living net so wide if you don't have a guaranteed work and therefore income situation sorted out?!

Where I work I can get a transfer to just about any town in the uk, my GF is the educated one who also has transferable options in her employment, she owns half the house her ex owns the other half, it will be sold when her daughter finishes her education, at that stage I will be able to contribute to a percentage of where we buy next, probably a third. We will have a budget of about 190-200 k, so where we live now in London won’t be an option unless we get a huge mortgage, so we are looking to go mortgage free so we can both cut down on our hours and enjoy heading into old age worry free.
