Kelly and BFG 22:55 - Oct 28 with 5444 views | BlackCrowe | Kelly - some fine saves for sure, but god he does inspire confidence on the back pass, looks like a calamity is about to happen everytime. Leistner was so frustrating tonight, passed back to Kelly so many times when the ball was crying out to go forward. Special mention to the tw@t 50+ idiot who tried to start a fight in East Paddock at the end with a 14 year old. You're hard.

Not defending the geezer but..... why, pray tell is Warburton a disgrace?!? I disagreed with his set up and leaving the woeful Scowen and Cameron partnership together for so long, but a disgrace? Have a word

thanks- he's ok... more p****d off than upset. he was totally right too... why diss Warburton for the terrific job he's done with the limited resources at his disposal? maybe the old guy was having a bad day...and now realises attacking kids wasn't the best idea he's ever had. lets hope so

I read it as the old idiot was calling Warburton a disgrace. Which is a nonsense. It’s frustrating losing again to Brentford, particularly as I’m surrounded by them in my social life. However, I do hope that we don’t do another knee jerk Rangers reaction and sully the best thing to happen to the club for many a season.

no idea - you'd have to ask the old git why he was so angry with Warburton- my boy just pointed out that calling him disgrace wasn't very smart or fair [Post edited 28 Oct 2019 23:20]

Do what you can to get the bastard banned from the club, the bastard deserves banning at a minimum, what kind of a so called Man would grab a 14 Year old by the neck and try to strangle him? Get rid of the fcker by contacting the club. Hope it don't put your lad off going to Rangers.

what do you mean... did I let him strangle him? Of course I didn't- I shoved him away and told him he was attacking a kid- then the stewards intervened and got between everyone. he then mouthed a few expletives and left. we'll recognise him next time- and point him out to the stewards. maybe he'll be dealt with or at the very least apologise for his stupid and totally inappropriate behaviour.
Kelly and BFG on 01:37 - Oct 29 with 3457 views | JAPRANGERS | If that old git had attacked my 14 year old nephew he would have regretted it. He has trained in Judo and Taekwondo for several years. Glad your stepson is OK after this shocking experience. Totally mental attacking anyone at football let alone a kid. It's just a football match. [Post edited 29 Oct 2019 1:57]

Kelly and BFG on 08:41 - Oct 29 with 3051 views | TheChef | Agreed on Kelly making some fine saves - although looking back on the highlights he might feel he'd have done better with the first goal. Not an easy one but the header does seem to go through him. And the Sky highlights are sh1te as they show none of our chances other than the goal.

Kelly and BFG on 08:52 - Oct 29 with 3018 views | plasmahoop | It seems a bit unfair to berate Kelly for being a calamity waiting to happen, when he didn't actually do anything calamitous. He really can't win on that one
Kelly and BFG on 08:52 - Oct 29 with 3018 views | rsonist | Can't decide on Kelly. He's sort of growing on me but a bit more like mould than out of affection. Prevented a cricket score though clearly. Gets down lightning quick which I do like a lot. Distribution moot as he never had much on to pass to. Will never be a dominant calming presence but he does have a bit of that particular madness certain good goalies have. Outside of keeping the fcking thing out of the net he's not going to come up well judged against the classical keeper metrics. Lumley we can compare negatively to Smithies - but we'd probably be better off comparing Kelly to Kenny. [Post edited 29 Oct 2019 8:56]

It is unfair and he did definitely keep the score down but every pass back he looks mega-jittery and the defence, which is shaky enough as it is, lacks confidence in him i think.

I think we have Stejskal and Roberts reincarnate in Lumley and Kelly. The same as when Abbott and Costello sprang onto the screen! ...joking aside, I do prefer Lumley. I can’t see that our defence has tightened up over the last few games! [Post edited 29 Oct 2019 9:33]

Kelly and BFG on 09:59 - Oct 29 with 2820 views | stevec | Kelly shouldn't be fielding so many back passes, the defence has lost its nerve in respect of passing out from the back. Thought the keeper did well last night, didn't have a chance with the 2nd or 3rd and when both your centre backs give Watkins all the time in the world it's not easy protecting a goal 8 yards wide from 7 yards out.

i think it's the fans that are jittery, not him. He seems absolutely fine with the ball at his feet to me.

Agreed. I thought he saw an incredible amount of the ball last night, perhaps the most I’ve ever seen from a goalie. Some of it came off, some of it didn’t but Brentford made it very difficult. He does have an unusual kind of jerky action which takes a bit of getting used to, which I think I am now. He won’t have too many games as hard as he had last night in this league and thought he did ok.

Yes, did fine last night, as did the Brentford keeper and it was ridiculous how much space Watkins got for the first. Sooner or later we'll have a goal drought and if we can't fix the defence we'll drop like a stone.

Kelly and BFG on 11:21 - Oct 29 with 2611 views | Dorse | How many times did BFG send it back to Kelly when he had 9 players in front of him? I love BFG's no-nonsense approach and thoroughgoing bastardy but it was getting frustrating by the end. I am loathe to blame any particular player for the loss - we got beaten by a combination of jaw-dropping refereeing idiocy for the penalty and sheer pace and intent from the opposition.
