There were 32 ties in the 3rd round and only 9 were at 3pm on a Saturday.With only 16 games this round,and if the keep to the same percentage,it will 4 or 5 games played on Saturday at 3pm.And they are likely to be the boring games that won’t feature on our tv live.
And I would say 2 middling championship teams would be way down the list of an exciting game to show.
I would say that Brentford are nailed on to be on the tv,and Leicester are playing in the league cup on the Tuesday,so they will be on the Saturday,either lunchtime or evening.Millwall v sheff Utd is more likely to be on tv than ours,so that might be Sunday lunchtime,leaving us to play on Saturday at 3pm.
Or it could all be crap and we have to play at 11pm on Friday night. |  | | |

really poor from the club, small crowd at the weekend but loads of kids in lower loft many for 1st game, none of them will be there for a friday night game. I know players need recovery etc but this is a poor decision from them and could easily have played the blackburn game later in the season. | | | |

I think the EFL (surprise surprise) make us play on the earliest available midweek. Still doesn't explain why we couldn't have played Blackburn on the Wednesday and the cup game on the Saturday. | | | |
