...controversial first half goal earned QPR victory over 10-man Leeds".
No it didn't Mr BBC Journalist...it actually earned three points 11v11 except the last couple of minutes. Headlines like that on Aunties Sports Page get my goat.
Because of the early KO I got home and saw, for the first time in some years, Final Score. I was amazed at how babyish the programme has become. Talking to viewers as if all of them were about 8 years old and a silly glarey blue and yellow template. I won't be watching that again.
Did you also notice that they were going to get a summary of our match today and then there was a goal at the Emirates so they switched to that? The promise they would go back to Loftus Road later for a summary never happened.
You should try listening to the one eyed commentary on TV here in Oz. They all seem to have an anti-QPR bias. The penalty was missed apparently, rather than saved. Every QPR player "goes down easily" and every Leeds player is "fouled". Still, grateful to be able to watch it. Onwards and upwards.
