The YT Hayesender did earlier of the game fom 1990 - when we could half expect to win a Cup tie, got me thinking if anyone who's into watching old pathe news type things, knows of the earliest footgae out there of QPR playing?

Could well be LR as the huge buildings in the background were there for the Franco-British exhibition as part of the White City, I believe. Also, the ref's kit is amazing as are the photographers virtually on the pitch which is grassless so more than likely LR back then!!

My Grandfather went to the game at Loftus Road.Typical Rangers claimed the Sheffield winning goal was a hand ball, and remembered the sHeffield players laughing when the ref gave the goal.
Note also they would have been playing in green and white hoops.
Magical though.
Is there a way of downloading this off Youtube?

Got my old programmes/hand books .The QPR fells /captain is James Birch ,i would guess.One of our record appearances at 324 games.played from 1912 until 1926.
