On a very serious issue, our local branch of Tesco had very few ales or pilsner in stock today. The range of wines was greatly reduced as well.

No Football, no Bridge. How am I meant to cope if the ales & wine are not available?

I didn't retire to not enjoy my life!

I tried it some years ago. Initial results were poor but I'd been using dried yeast. I switched to liquid yeast and the beer was pretty good. It's a good hobby.
