Well there is Forest Green Rovers, Fleetwood Town, no one else comes to mind.
Well, this was the worrying thing. I was just going from Everton straight to Gillingham for English clubs (FGR and Fleetwood weren’t in the league at the time). Even visualising clubs geographically on a map and starting with London, still didn’t point me in the direction of the football team I support. That’s why the others thought I was winding them up.

I think that's quite natural.
Other clubs are football clubs on a list that sometimes turn up as part of your fixture list, plans for away games etc.
Your own club is simply the centre of the universe, it doesn't appear on a list of things, it is The Thing. It's like listing stars or planets, you tend not to think of either the Earth or the Sun as on either list.
