...on the 9th of March 1942. Torpedoed by U -701 while steaming at 9 knots, south east of Iceland. Hit on the port side she sank in minutes, from the crew of 42 only one survived(no, not Don Masson), John Henry Baxter, who was having a kip and awoke to find he was 'all at sea'. The perps of this sinking not lasting long, themselves sunk by USAAF aircraft four months later.
My question...isn't it about time we had an HMS Queens Park Rangers?
