These games behind cloed doors. 14:58 - Jun 12 with 2405 viewsqpr_1968

can see a lot of surprise results in these games behind closed doors.
players under a lot LESS pressure from the crowd.
trying things they probably wouldn't normally try with fear of cocking up in front of a crowd.
I know it works for both teams, but could be interesting.
almost like a training match.....

will gobbing on the pitch be banned as well.

Poll: how many games this season....home/away.

Bundesliga is currently 22% home win, 28% draw, 50% away win I read yesterday.

That said Bundesliga 2 is at a more standard 41-41-18.

I think it will be a lot harder to beat the better teams now but is all an unknown. Lots of players apparently world beaters in training and bottle goes in front of crowds so might see some different players emerge from this

Have there been enough games for the stats to be meaningful yet?

Will Leeds be as threatening without Elland Road intimidation factor? Interesting.

I wonder if Fulham will pump out the terrifying sound of thousands of happy clappers? 🤔

Gobbing and snotting are supposed to be "banned" but coaches and ballboys will not be required to wear masks.

do the 5 substitutes your aloud apply to the championship as well or is it just premier.

Yes they do, but you can't stop the game 5 times to make them. You can still only stop the game 3 times, but now it is to use a maximum of 5 subs rather than 3.

There will also be a 1 minute drinks break in each half.

Although new laws normally kick in 1st July, I'm assuming 19/20 version will apply until the end of this season.

That's good. I reckon Preston could probably spin five substitutions out over 20 minutes if they were 1-0 up in the 70th minute.

That's OK, it's more likely we'll get Fulham or Bristol City in the playoffs anyway.

Must admit, if I was a player on a two or three year contract in the Championship and knew if my side got to the Premier I’d most likely be on my way out as not good enough for that level, given the climate for unregistered players in the foreseeable, I wouldn’t be putting myself out to get promotion.

Quite a few clubs did it on Saturday including QPR, It’s embarrassing whoever does it.

You’re not so you won’t.

I don’t think any footballer thinks like that.

most players would be on a big bonus for going up so if they have a chance they'll be going for it

Only two home wins in the Championship this weekend.

Nuff said.

If the club got promoted and the player has 2 or 3 years left, he'll get it paid up in full if he wishes (and also probably a promotion bonus, and the chance to at least have a go at trying to make it in the top flight)
