He's frustrating as there is a decent keeper somewhere in there but his brain farts, which took place in almost every game earlier this season, resulted in lots of errors and goals.
Kelly looks OK, but nothing more than OK.
Dieng looks solid but also prone to the odd error from when I've watched highlights of their games. |  |

Ron Greenwood rotated Shilton & Clemence for about three years up to the 1982 World Cup where he finally settled on Shilton as his first choice. Had Cloughie got the England job instead of Greenwood in 1977, Shilton probably would have ended with another 50 caps. |  |

I do wish he'd pack in the whole gamesmanship routine before penalties though. It doesn't work, he's never saved one. We've faced in excess of 20 penalties in two seasons since Smithies left and apart from one Kelly save (and that was only from Bam Bam so hardly counts) and one Forestieri one over the bar they've all been scored. |  | | |

All players, and I mean all players, get abuse at some time and some more than most, and if that adversely affects the performance then they shouldn't be playing at this level. If you are a QPR supporter attending a game then why would you feel it was helping the team to abuse one of our players? It is completely counter productive. If you feel the need to slag off a player, do it with your mates in the pub afterwards and stop being part of the reason that so many players are either suffering mentally from abuse of leaving the clubs where it is happening. There is a little symbol on the back of every EFL players shirt in every game, so remember that when you think a player needs to hear your litany of profanity strewn abuse during a match. | |

I think we all know fans who do it to be heard, though. To impress the people around them. Most of the time the abuse is inaudible to the player anyway so it's clearly aimed at the audience and not the actor. It's shocking insecurity and you'd have to worry about their self-esteem. | |
