Heard earlier today that he's not in squad tomorrow after a bid was accepted.
Was a bit sceptical but now Belgian journo says Club Bruges have agreed a £5m fee.

Rumour is Brighton came in with a bid of £4m, Leicester then stepped in and offered £3.5m so Brighton immediately countered with a bid for £3m.

Fulham have just stepped in with a 24 hour take it or leave it bid of £2m, saying they won’t be back with another bid.

Rangers have accepted the Fulham offer.

Or maybe it's just his agent that fancies it. Or at least fancies his 20%.

quite possibly although he'd get his 20% if he moved to an English side as well, always thought it was an odd move for him

I read in the click bate media that BOS himself turned down the offer from Brugge, and made himself available for West Brom. Hope he wants to stay and signs a new contract with us.

Most likely more wages etc for him from English clubs.

About right .
still better sell him sharpish before we get a realistic offer , the transfer window SLAMS shut in mid october & dont even think about seeing him as an asset who will more likely than not be worth big money in the not too distant future .

But that’s the point, he won’t be as his contract runs down his value falls.

Thinking along the lines of offering him another 5k/10k a week in a bid to add one more year to current contract & then selling in a year for closer to £10 million .
This would cost 250k/500k & may well net an extra £5 million .
So yes Rangers would have to pay him more but would still have an excellent player & properly cash in come next summer , i know its speculate to accumulate & the club would have to persuade Bright but worth a try .
At the very least lets not race to give him away at the very start of the transfer window , this sends out the wrong message to potential buyers of some of our other players .

Eustace said earlier in season another year in Championship would benefit BOS.
Is he consistent enough to play in Premiership,he’s only produced end product for a quarter of this season.

If they only add one more year to his contract, come next summer we’ll be in the same boat as we are now!

You need to add 2 years. And you should aim to sell with 18 months to 2 years left on a deal.

That’s why Eze should be sold now or in Jan, and BOS now, or Jan if we get a one year extension. Only a 2 year extension, so 3 years under contract from now, allows us to sell with all the leverage next summer.

i'm all for adding 2 years but in a years time he will have played a full season for us , something he has yet to do .
He will have ripped many defences apart & have a much higher profile and command a higher price so not in the same boat as now .
someone has dropped the ball by not having extended his contract long ago .

Unless it’s drummed up more interest, it’ll be the same boat. And remember, there are two CL teams after him in Leicester and Bruges. It’s not his lack of a full season that’s depreciating the price, it’s there being less than 12 months on his deal so he can leave on a free in 12 months, just after he’s got that full season in you’re talking about.

And it’s McClaren’s fault. BOS didn’t really break into the side and start performing until Dec. Why would you have offered an extension before then, with 18 months left and no evidence he was even a first teamer? As soon as they did, in Jan, he said “no”. They’ve been trying since.

The issue is McClaren refuses to play him last season, when he should have played so we could have sold him last summer (with 2 years left on his contract) or got a contract renewal agreed so we could sell him now with 2 years left.

The club have offered him a pay rise and a longer deal but he's turned them all down

Plus, his family are in London aren't they? It is probably quicker to get back by train from Brugge via Eurostar than get to Leicester.

Disclaimer: I've never actually tried to get to Leicester by train.

Completely agree on McClaren, we wasted a year with him so Bright,Manning, Kakay and Smyth all got very few games, we wasted a year of their development.

When Holloway went it was a great opportunity to give the likes of Manning, Bright and Smyth first team games and develop them further after a taste of being in the side under Holloway but no we shipped 2 out on loan and left Bright on the bench for most of the season.

The fact that this nonsense has been reversed this year is why it does my nut in when people have a pop at Warburton.

Don't forget Furlong who never had enough starts either. Before Eustice and Warbs, the young-uns never had a chance.

The trick to seeing how they play for QPR is to ... err play'em for QPR.
Funny that.
