Betting on the Championship when there has hardly been any transfers is a mug's game.
If we lose Eze and BOS( v likely) then you can see why our chances are so poor. But, we could do similar to last year. Get recruitment right and being rated worse than Brum or Huddersfield will look very wrong. |  |

Norwich aren't in bad shape but their job's not as easy as it looks. Still a lot of squad turnover to negotiate, a lot of new players new to the league with old ones uncertain of expected big moves, and above all it remains to be seen if Farke can wipe the slate clean after a long flat season's gob-bumming. Their chief exec made the same bet already with Huddersfield when they went down and lost badly.
That said, can imagine they take half a season to get in the groove and still come out on top with a strong run and a clearer picture in the January window having plenty to spend. | | | |

The other thing about Norwich is they've lost their last 11 games. I'm always intrigued by how teams start the following season after that, and this time the following season is literally 6 weeks away. Making a tonne of signings, kept hold of most of the team and the manager that took them up (though I wasn't that impressed with them even then), so might just yo yo and go back in great shape. But it's not a forgone conclusion that you lose 11 straight, conceding 26 goals including a couple of 4-0s and a 5-0, fail to score a goal of your own at all in your last four games, and suddenly six weeks later you're right as rain and ready to go. |  | | |

Yeah Stoke set up superbly, they’ll be dangerous If they get a decent forward in.
