Bright off the mark, covering a familiar failing - Report 27th Sep 2020 22:55
QPR added a fourth point to their season tally with a 1-1 draw at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday, Bright Osayi-Samuel cancelling out the latest set piece disaster at the other end. 11

That is brilliant writing Clive somehow making that game seem entertaining .Not sure those match photos are current though unless its my computer .Did I mention how much i disliked that crest and how happy i am to see our current one back .Long may it stay

Think you might be slipping even further down MW’s Christmas card list with this one

Great write up. I am starting to buckle under the people that don't think we need a specialist defensive coach. I am starting to see their point. I think we need to get some trained bricklayers in to brick up our goal at set pieces. Or just stand the entire team on the goal line at corners and hope for the best. Or just simply refuse to defend set pieces.... Ah sorry, we already do that. Hmmm...

Never knowingly right.

I hope each game makes you feel better about the 'overdraft' comment, which basically hit the nail bang on the head.

Thanks for the report.

Whenever I watch a MW interview on the QPR Site he always glances left or right when something irks his attention.

I keep expecting to hear MW shout, you boy, stop doing that!!!!

captains fantastic

Good report, and similar to my own view.

My only areas of disagreement is that I thought Chair - one of my favourite players btw - was poor and I'd say 5 was about right and I think BOS was more 8 than 7 although definitely agree he was MOM. He scored which by itself warrants decent marks but also thought he caused them problems for most of the game. Think it was his excellent work that teed up Amos first half too and generally looked back to his best for the 90 mins. Other than that agreed with everything. I liked the look of Thomas too and think esepcially at home would favour him over Amos.

Ideally though, losing Eze, Hugs and Wells, we need another attacking option. Lose Dykes for a sustained period and we're in the sh*t, lose Dykes and BOS for a sustained period and I don't know where we go.

I thought we were a bit (not much) better than Clive's report, but I also feel Clive's suffering more than most of us having to watch games on screens (and I'm suffering enough).
I quite enjoyed this game.

Bare bones.

Yeh fully hold my hands up to how down I've been since the stadium thing last week, and that probably coloured my view of this game slightly. Knowing it's just going to be like this indefinitely.

It was a bit like the Huddersfield home game last season, some promising stuff, a few daft mistakes and the feeling that if it clicks we could be quite good but not sure if it will or not

It's harder for all of you regular attendees, though. Nothing's changed for the rest of us on match day but a huge part of your social life is missing for a while.

Totally understand it mate. It's depressing. I just saw a clip on twitter of a load of goals and stuff and fan shots. Christ I miss it!

Bare bones.

This interview with Clint Hill has been posted sometime in the past, but its worth revisiting in the context of the defensive failings. Speaking about when he was at Rangers under MW

at 1hr.40
'(in training) we'd never do any defensive corners, (we) don't do that here'.
