A maximum of 4,000 fans are to be allowed at outdoor events in the lowest-risk areas when the national lockdown in England ends on 2 December, BBC Sport understands.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to make an announcement on the return of crowds later on Monday.

He will make a statement to the House of Commons, which MPs will vote on.

There will be no crowds allowed in the highest-risk areas under the new Covid-19 restrictions in England.

Elite sports has continued behind closed doors during England's four-week lockdown, while grassroots and amateur sport has been halted since 5 November.

More to follow.

London was Tier 2 so we would have 2k in.

However... cases on the rise in London faster than anywhere else so could just as easily go into Tier 3

If it’s less than 5k and you take away all the Covid vulnerable and those who don’t want to go, then we might all fit in.

Of course, it would be totally irresponsible to find some away non-league game in tier one. Good job I am too Lazy to even watch the stream out of bed.

How you gonna stop people shouting, and projecting their virus-laden mouth droplets five or six metres?

Think I'll wait till I've had me vaccine jab.

Can't we play our home games in the Albert Hall, apparently you can't catch it there.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Even 4000 at places like Tottenham is going to be worse than us at White City.

but lots of people on here might be and and anyway who is going to check you on the door if you go to a nice pub in Denham, for example?

Bucks was in tier 1.

On reflection I guess you meant pre and post match - Denham WOULD be tad impractical for either I guess!
