just to put a different spin here....

He only got a one year contract which is due to be extended soon if everyone is happy at QPR that we want to do that after such a short space of time. If you are the players agent do you :
a. advise him to work hard and show you are worth the extension? or
b. Try and put pressure on the club or drum up interest elsewhere by linking someone with other big name clubs (who less than 6 months ago hadn't shown much interest, but suddenly have after being in the QPR under 18s)?

A player can sign for a maximum of 3 years on his 17th birthday .This can be re negotiated on his 18th when they can sign for a maximum of 5 years.
