As you say, bit of a strange appointment, that. These banners were hung-up outside the ground before Holden was even appointed!
Not a lot of love in these parts for Mark Ashton, the CEO, and not many City fans seem to be expecting him to appoint a decent manager now. Steve Lansdown has spent a lot of money upgrading Ashton Gate, building a new training ground etc, but there's a lot of frustration at him for poor managerial appointments/sticking with Johnson for so long. |  |
