Question for PinnerPaul 13:29 - Mar 14 with 829 views | QPRSteve | Watching the Soton - Brighton game. Soton attack and a player is fouled on the edge of the area but the ref signals for advantage. Soton get a shot in which is brilliantly saved. Ref then signals for the free kick. I understand pulling it back for the foul if no advantage ensues, but in this case they got a shot in. Surely the free kick is null and void. Am I right?
Question for PinnerPaul on 15:51 - Mar 14 with 690 views | PinnerPaul | Yep agree, haven't seen it yet but wrong to give attacking team two goes, which in effect he has done. If attacker closed down or has to hurry the shot because of a defender, then maybe bring it back, but a 'clean' attempt at goal should mean no going back to the fk for me.
