Can we still make 10th final place? 09:54 - Apr 14 with 1103 views

Like many others I've been hoping we'd break into the top 10 for our final league position but after last night we'll have to go some to make that.

I've reckoned 65 points would get us to 10th and that now means accumulating 9 points in 5 games. With 2 of our remaining fixtures against 1st and 3rd that's a big ask and we may need to beat Borough, Stoke and Luton to get the points.

There'll be a few more twists and turns to come and we're quite capable of grabbing 10th. But I think we'll come up just short.

It is only Swansea left to play that have a lot to play for. Norwich will be up by the time we meet so they could drop a few gears.

The other three games are against sides in the same boat as us so maybe it is a question of the mentality of both teams in holiday mode. Perhaps another type of 4-3 Millwall game could come about in a couple of them and if our opponents play experimental or weakened teams like in Cup ties we may get 10th yet.
