Four games to go I know but what are peoples thoughts so far?

I'm still going for Rob Dickie.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Cannot argue with that but I wonder if Dykes might muscle in on the most improved player.

Tough call between Dieng and Dickie but I would only marginally go for Dieng. Nobody else has been as consistently good as over the season as these two.

He would absolutely deserve it, but I’m going from last season. Dykes nailed on for it next season!

Is Johansen allowed?

Dieng with Dickie a very close second.

Nor can the commentator sometimes, especially when Dykes gets involved!

I think I would put Barbet in instead of Chair, but yes definitely that top two.

I'm struggling to remember the last time it wasn't nailed on!

The fact that Barbet is the only player in the whole of the Championship to play every minute of every game so far underlines the importance that he has in MW's eyes, so that makes him an extremely strong POTY contender, I would suggest.

Of course, you can't really argue with either Dieng or Dickie. Looks like we've got some decent competition for once!👍

Dickie I think, just. Dieng has been awesome since he came in, but for me Dickie has been just slightly ahead this season in terms of performance and improvement.

Never knowingly understood

Dieng for me, although I wouldn't be at all miffed if Dickie got it. They've both had such a positive impact this season.

Chair has done well, ditto Barbet and Willock.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

This, although gap between 1 and 2 is closer than it was a few weeks ago

I think Dickie has improved massively with the back 3 and has grown in confidence and reading a match. His lack of pace is an issue but his reading of the game now seems to make up for that. Huge improvement.

He must be in with a good shout as is Dieng who has been magnificent. Took one for the team today, literally.

I have to say that overall I think Barbet has been excellent this season and if you did this from the start of the year Wallace would be up there too. I can't believe it's the same player.

Never knowingly right.

As I remember from youth football the 'most improved' title was a double edged award.
'Well done, you're not our best player but at least you're not shit anymore...'

Timothy Dieng as Sky Sports news called him during the goals round up.

Dieng or Dickie for me, one of those where I'd agree with whoever got it out of them.
Chair is a very important part of the starting 11 now but hasn't done enough at a high level to justify pushing for tgat title but that said it can be easier for a defender and keeper 'to do their job' as the game comes on to them for the most part, a player like Chair raising the standard to dictate a game is much more difficult to do week in week out, doing the hard yards closing down and shuttles up and down the pitch largely go unnoticed, especially by a TV crowd this season of course.

My Rs mates and I were debating this after the game today and were saying how we thought some might go for Austin given the effect he's had. It would not be right, fair, or even actually true.

We agreed Dieng was the POTY this season, but Dickie is not far behind. Let's hope we can hang on to them for next season.

Dieng for me. Dickie also superb in first Championship season. Don’t underestimate the effect a good keeper has on the defence in front of him. And on second half of the season, special shout out to Barbet and Wallace. Think I read that Barbet has played every minute of every game which if true deserves a gong.
