I dont think you can underestimate the impact of Austin here, been seeing Dykes do things technically in the last month that are classic Chaz traits, body shape, movement, turn and shoot etc. IMHO its why he looks a different player, the last few goals could all have been Austin. Agree, but aside from the technical stuff, Charlie is quoted as telling Dykes to be selfish and single-minded, and I think you saw that with this goal and his last against Rotherham. There was one moment last night when Willock had the ball in the box to the left, looked up, and Dykes was galloping in at full speed along with two defenders. Willock had no choice but to pass along the conjested goal line, and it was cleared. Charlie would have stopped his run earlier and created space for a cut-back. |  | | |
