I’m thinking of getting a hot tub to soothe away my aches and pains, but as usual I’m not sure which one is better.
The choices are a portable one,a small rigid one or a wood burning one.
The portable one is easy to put up and take down but it costs quite a lot to run it.The small non portable is more expensive to buy,but has to stay in place all year round, and is cheaper to run.
The wood burning one is recommended by Greta, but I don’t want to have to get out and put another log on the fire. But it’s the cheapest to run.

Any recommendations would be nice.Apart from don't bother buying one that is.With another relatively young person gone again today,I’ve realised you might as well spend it while you’re still breathing. And it can’t be spent on travel yet.

Cheers.

I have a Cedar Hot Tub, wouldn’t be without one. The static one is my favourite but we had an area to house it at home. Not too costly to run around £20 a month more on our bill. Very good for those aches and pains.

Here’s mine.

For 'hot tub', read 'sex pond'.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

I tried herbs once and I ended up in Newcastle general waving at everyone as if I was royalty.

Would you have a picture of your friends wife to hand?

My wife will sit in a hot tub for hours and hours. I'm bored after 10 mins unless she's up for some shenanigans, which wont happen cuz she's relaxing.
Weed is better for aches and pains in my book.

Just a thought, but if you’re getting a HT to ease aches and pains, you might benefit more by taking a look at what’s causing these issues in the first place.

If feasible of course, getting more exercise and doing some good stretching/yoga can help immensely. Depending on what your issues are, a healthier diet can play a significant role in reducing and even eliminating a lot of our ailments.

But a healthier diet isn’t as much fun as sipping alcohol while sitting in a hot tub getting my oats is it?

I wouldn't recommend making porridge in a hot tub.

A colleague of mind constantly refers to his as 'the jizz pond'. Good name for a band perhaps. Anyway enjoy your lunch everybody.

If the aches and pains are as bad as you allude to, getting in to thing might be your bigger challenge than what you do when you’re in it.
