Goal of The Month 10:10 - Apr 27 with 1712 viewsBrianMcCarthy

Four great goals.
Always a matter of taste, these things. We all like different types of goals. I usually get more excited by great moves than huge blockbusters, for instance.
I think it's between Dickie's really glorious blockbuster and, Dykes's v Swansea.

Willock’s goal v Sheffield Wednesday. Great team move.

Hadn't realised my choice wasn't included. I'll go for Dykes's first header .

Dykes header for me.

Sucker for a diving header and prefer strikers goals for the boost it gives them.

Dickie for me. If you're not gona give a freaking centre back goal of the month for that beauty, you never will. not just smashed either - placement on that.

Bare bones.

We've scored some great goals of all shapes and sizes this month. I'd like the Willock one to have been in there too. Dickie will win it but that is some header of Dykes'. Dykes will surely get POTM as a consolation?

I think from a technical POV Dykes's header is such a good finish, as good as Dickie's shot is.

Never knowingly right.

I like the Rotherham one. Takes a difficult ball into him and then smashes it in and keeper doesn't move.

Dickie goal will win it though.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Both brilliantly executed Willock team goals should be in there. Hope MW has words.

You can;t take it off your CB from 30 yards, it's the law. Although sweeping it in with his instep instead of blasting through his laces does help keep Dykes' header at bay in second.

Forest consolation not far off the Swansea winner for Albert-Dykes interplay.

Three great goals for Dykes but I feel Dickie will get it with that sweet drive.

Seeing these 4 goals again together makes me appreciate what a good team we ave become with excellent creation and execution of the goals.

Really difficult for me to choose the best because they are all superb, but the gaol against Swansea stands out for me for the team and Dykes control, turn and sho

I love how people somehow dig out these threads from months/years ago!
