First album wasn't great (although the song Genital Grinder was).
Second album, Necrotism, is my favourite metal album ever.
Heartwork was decent.
Swansong was terrible.
Surgical Steel was a bit of a return to form but a little bit boring to be honest. It didn't have the hooks of Necrotism/Heartwork. Torn Arteries was a bit the same but with a bit too much of that hard rock influence that spoiled Swansong. The last two were okay but I can't think of any songs that live in the memory.

Forgot about that first album, not sure I've listened to it tbh. The bad one I was thinking of was swan song.
Funnily enough, I'd say symphonies of sickness was one of the best metal albums, but you didn't mention that one.
That second comeback album seems to have passed me by too, didn't know it existed until now.

The First Carcass has really grown on my as I've got older but even using DecibelAmp the production still sounds tinny unless it's the tracks on 'wake up smell the Carcass'.
My mate brother gave him a copy of this last year, I nicked it forgot about it until it came on shuffle the other week so I listened to the whole thing. It's pretty good not sure If anyone Posted it.
I loved the one above Bluce I'm gonna look for some more.

Bolt Thrower are okay but I prefer Napalm Death as they have a similar sound but ND tend to put in little interesting musical moments rather than just bludgeoning you for a whole album. Not bad though. I liked the first song the most.

Hehe... I hear ya, although you say bludgeoning as if it's a bad thing. Some of their early stuff can be like that, but later albums like Warmaster and the 4th Crusade retain the brutality but get a bit more melodic.

16 pages in and no one has mentioned Bolt Thrower yet? Time to correct that:
Good call, great band with a distinctive sound. I love their album "Those once loyal". I have heard claims that the song "Anti-tank" has the heaviest bass line of any track ever, delivered by female bassist Jo Bench.
The singer is now in Memoriam, they are worth a listen.

Have we discussed Metallica's latest platter yet? It's not long out. Here's one of the cuts, it's pretty decent in my humble opinion..

So many great moments and time changes in this Aussie thrash epic! The chugging section which begins about two minutes 20 seconds in is terrific.
