I hadn't realised how old the Belgian squad has become. Tielemans is 24 and the second youngest. 10 of the 24 in their 30s, and De Bruyne will make it 11 in a couple of weeks.

I thought Scotland looked pretty decent against Holland the other week but the defence was a bit of a shambles today... Even with my England/QPR pessimistic hat on its difficult to see how they can get a result against England if we put in a 6/10 or better performance. |  | | |

Yes, let my heart rule my head, playing at Hamden and Dykes being a R, thought they might get a draw.
Sorry to our Scottish RRs but Enland should win at a canter, there no doubt be blood and thunder from Scotland for the first 15 minutes but reality should then kick in, maybe not a trouncing but a win with no injuries is enough for England. |  | | |

Robertson would get into England's team, I doubt McGinn would. Scotland could be hard to play against if they manage to go a goal up, and they did create more chances than I expected, though that would be the time to play Grealish to try to dribble into the area. If England score first, it could get ugly, they look the quickest team in the tournament and could cut the Scots to ribbons on the break. [Post edited 14 Jun 2021 17:06]

Scotland really need a win though.
ONe thing nobody mentioned after the Croatia game was despite the intense heat how comfortable England were for large portions of the match.
A draw will do England, Scotland really in my view need a win.
It made me laugh a bit the Scots types on Talksport saying it heaped more pressure on England given they had won at the weekend and Scotland lost on Monday.
