I didn’t make the connection yesterday. Was literally just thinking, who was that Smith lad they had playing upfront, seemed to have a bit about him. Googled and what do you know. I only saw the 2nd half, so presume he was playing in a front 3, as he was quite advanced and a bit of a handful - looked sharp when he needed to react. Just as we try to work out who could slip in if chair, or willock are out for any length…one worth tracking as it’s only a matter of time before city release him, and he’d be an upgrade with games now under his belt. I think it’s a learning curve for when we take on young loans from the big clubs - it needs to be a 2nd+ loan so they’ve had games under their belt.

There were quite a few moments like that for me yesterday.

Didnt twig Ingram was our old goalie.

Didnt realise Jack Robinson had gone to Sheffield Utd

And (An) Tony Scully scored twice for Altringham i think it was

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

I thought he looked useful when he played for us on loan from Citeh. Could pick a pass and was never really given a proper chance to show us what he could do.

zzzzzzzzzz

Goodness me. Proof that he could score (apart from that one against Palace,) after all.

He’s an absolute spit of his old man. Only difference is the boy appears to be able to trap a ball. Our one couldn’t trap a fart in a duvet.
