Not saying he is the sole problem.
But we simply cannot play him of he is showing those levels of fitness. |
A few of us had questions when he joined on loan but he proved to be incredible .
Once he signed on permanently we assumed he would kick it up and be fully fit and ready to attack the season.

Complain all you want these things happen, they were clinical and dangerous in front of goal and were better than us (which they are).
It's how we respond Tuesday night after conceding four goals for the first time this season.
It's a shit result but sometimes your team don't turn up and half of our team today didn't turn up.

There were huge gaping holes in our midfield but Johansen isn’t responsible for the formation. He was poor on the ball, didn’t offer himself enough, too negative. He’s capable of so much more. | | | |

Rather glad that this is over - did not have us as losing 4-1 when Dykes equalised but there you go.
Not really at the races at all today, defence consistently half a yard off and gaping chasms down our flanks again. Really hoping things improve defensively when Field gets back to fitness as its hard to pinpoint precisely why a defence that looked so dominant second half of last season is as leaky as it is this year.
Clear gulf in quality today but with the relative costs and budgets within the squads that isn't too surprising - most alarming was we just didn't look up to speed whatsoever across the whole pitch.
On to Tuesday - another couple of key games coming up with Blackburn and Peterborough. The hope continues. |  | | |
