Signed an 18 month deal in 2020. Still at the club, I believe. Is he a myth? Does he exist? Is he actually part of the Xbox virtual team? What is the deal with this guy? And what is the actual rumour of what he has allegedly done, and why he is still at he club if so, doing nothing? Why he is not out on loan? Is he simply even more injured than the Matthew Rose tribute act that is De Wijs? On the one or two times we saw a glimpse of him he appeared to be a big and potentially useful prospect.

Never knowingly right.

He is the 1986 League Cup final personified.

The grass is always greener.

The last I read was that he has ongoing injuries problems. His contract is up this summer.

He's 23 in May and in the U23's squad.

Likely in the not gonna make it category I suspect.

Some funny signing down the years.

All very strange indeed.......waste of money. Done nothing basically.

The most likely but least interesting explanation is that it just hasn't worked out due to injuries and lack of progress.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Some you win, some you lose. You have to gamble to get a winner.
