Come on the Hull on 11:15 - Jan 20 by robith | With Blackburn's form seemingly coming from nowhere, maybe that's the pin that bursts the bubble |
Seems to happen a lot. I remember Brentford going on a mad run 2 seasons ago and looked odds on to go up in place of West Brom, and then fell apart as they hit the top 2. A lot of clubs seem to be better at chasing and when they get to that position dont really know what to do.

Yeh there's a team like that every year. Remember in our first play-off year under Holloway it was Tranmere - that Bircham goal at brentford was brilliant because it was brilliant but it was also vital because we'd just heard bloody Tranmere had won in the last minute again at Notts County. Year after it was Bristol City, won something like 11 in a row, remember them getting a last minuter at Grimsby, Brian Tinnion giving that interview saying it would be all over by easter and QPR and Plympouth were running scared. Warnock season it was Forest, with their infamous multiple games in hand, celebrating a draw at our place like a cup win. None of them went up.
