Hi all,
I'm Interested in getting my lad to be mascot one day this season however the price of £350 is a little steep for me. Anyone else interested in their kid being a mascot as well and there is a deal of 2 kids for £450 so a more reasonable £225 each if we split it. Im assuming that would be ok or is it assumed kids are from same family?

My lad did the Burnley away miracle win. Cost bugger all and he had a great time meeting all the players, walking out the tunnel etc. |  | | |

That's not too bad considering it's an experience they'll never forget. Shelled out on season tickets already so don't think I'd get away with it this year but maybe one for the future. | | | |

Did this too for my son a few seasons ago. He had to be a Junior R member but just emailed the club to say which away games we planned to attend that season and they emailed back and offered him Birmingham away. The cost was a full replica kit for him and match tickets for the rest of us. Birmingham provided lunch and official photos, we got to meet all the players in the dressing room before the game, he got to walk out with the players, and it was well worth it. |  | | |

Both my lads when younger done away games and were brilliant.
One was Coventry in the Adel days (we met him in coridor when he was told he was on the bench) and one was Villa (when Albert played for them and he said to my when waiting outside the changing room "You R's" when he turned up) Nedam was captain for us that night and was great with my lad, also Smithies found him after the game in the crowd and gave him his gloves (which we still have)
Villa were great with all of us, gave 5 of us who went with my youngest dinner before the game!!

My son was mascot at Preston last Monday. As has been said, no charge, you just need be a Qpr member, to have any of this seasons kits and buy your own match tickets.
We were met at the Preston hospitality entrance given a quick tour of the ground then brought to meet the Qpr players arriving for photos/autographs. My son was asked to pick a player to walk out with (Ronnie) and I waited at the tunnel on edge of the pitch for him to get photos of him walking out. Once match starts we were escorted to the away end. Preston emailed me the photos taken in the centre circle during the week.
A great day had by all, would highly recommend. | | | |

I was mascot 1984 Boxing Day - QPR v Chelsea age 11, one of the greatest days of my life. So if you can afford it (which is a shame it's paid for now) just do it. Memories for a lifetime. Not sure if price includes the full kit but if not factor that into your costs. |  | | |

Correct, Stan Jr was mascot at the infamous Swindon home game which we lost in the 90s , cost nothing but didn't get a kit. |  |

Dunno if they still do it but they used to let a Junior Hoop Member be a mascot at every home game via a "lucky dip".
I got my daughter membership in the August of our L1 promotion season and two weeks later got a call to say she'd been picked as a mascot for next game.
There were three mascots on the day, my daughter plus a lad with the paid package plus one of the sponsors got a mascot too.
I'll have to try and dig out the photos of her on the pitch with Steve Palmer, Big Danny Shittu and her fave, DouDou. | | | |

My son was mascot against Preston too, but it was at home in September 2,000!
Moyes was their manager and Crouch was playing for us!!
