My best estimation of the aforementioned divide, calculated as the mid-point between the centre circles of the two stadiums in question (and strictly as the crow flies) is the bridge where the Suffragette Line crosses Hermitage Road. With due respect to and acknowledgement of your initial work here, Danny, and having consulted my old Knowledge of London map, I would place your (tr)equidistant point between the three grounds in question slightly further south on the other side of the A4 in the middle of Margravine Cemetery (close to the Hungarian Reformed Church in London to add further clarification). I’ll spare you the method I used to reach this conclusion but I’ve no doubt Willie would be proud to have inspired such important research. | | | |

Reciprocal respectifications on your further work on the triangulation issue. I’m now using the scientific method of simply staring at Google Maps. Margarine Gardens (as I like to call it) is a nice spot but seems to veer too South in favour of Fulham. I propose a new contender for the point of trequidistance. St Paul’s Gardens on the Hammersmith Road - the site of the old St.Paul’s school where the Normandy D-Day Landings were planned.

Ironically just finished a book about the Normandy landings and St. Paul's was also, one of Monty's old school. If I'm not mistaken, its also the alma mater of our very own Field Marshall. |  |
