Can't knock any player who is maxxing out on their ability. His touch in the first half when through on goal was awful but second goal was really skilfully taken. Seems to have a knack of being in the right place as well, nearly got on the end of Dembele's ball fired across at 2-1 down. First name on the teamsheet atm and signing of the season so far. Signing and player of the year so far for me. Thought was excellent last night worked so hard, chased everything and got a well deserved goal. He’s taken to the championship like a duck to water and you get the feeling there’s a lot more to come. |  | | |

Think he's my favourite player at the moment. Love his attitude. He missed a chance in the first half because of a poor touch but never stopping working and trying, getting his reward with the goal.
If we're signing players like him, that side of the equation is definitely improving. We just need less of the public school arrogance that thinks you can go into a season with an unproven goalkeeper or without a specialist right back. [Post edited 6 Nov 11:42]

He's scoring goals, you can't argue with that. But I think he's a clever player. Reads the game well and has a poacher's instinct. If he could improve his first touch and close control he'd be in hot demand. |  |

He was unlucky with the first chance bounced away from him..but the skill to take the ball before the goalie and tuck way the goal was very good so think he has skill and still developing the one positive from last night | | | |
