No takers yet ? I'd better have another go in the hope of alcohol duty being scrapped in the Budget.
A 1-1 draw I reckon.

I'm Smyth's biggest critic, but this is a sub performance for the ages

Come on, hang in there for a bit longer. Team is built for 4-2-3-1 - Burrell up top on his own, Chair as the no. 10, two fast wingers, any of Dembele, Smyth, Saito

JS got the team selection right tonight, irrespective of the result. Good call.

Deserved. For the 1st half, particularly. Then Super Sub Smyth. Not just the headed goal but the volley off the post with keeper nowhere.

We're top half.

In the Championship, you'll always end up relying on the Hills, Smyths, Cooks, and Fields.

Eject them at your peril.

I wouldn't want to watch Sam Field at left back every week though. Sure he comes in and does a job and you can never question his commitment but he's possibly our most limited player when in possession. Love the guy but he has his limitations

Good win against a team we seem to lose against a lot.

Felt we were a little wasteful and could have done much more with the ball in the final third.

Happy overall though. Mad league, win two and we're looking at the play off again!

Smyth, brilliant when he came on.

Makes a nice change for one of ours to improve his reputation by playing rather by sitting it out.

Paul's third goal of the season -- two with his head. He is one of the smallest guys on the field and the best jumper too!!!

Smyth was exceptional the whole time he was on. Another level of intensity from him.

Field had a very poor first half, but was very good defensively and on the ball in the second half.

Madsen worked hard but kept failing to complete that killer pass when it was on. For me, Varane was anonymous. Coasted through a lot of that.

Word for Cook and Nardi. Cook didn’t put a foot wrong after concussing Hamer! Won everything in the air. Nardi made a match winning save. That wasn’t at him. No right to save that.

Chair was very good all night. Saito dangerous. Felt Burrell wasn’t really at it and Kone is definitely looked heavier and slower. What is the Performance function up to? He looked fitter and sharper after a limited pre-season at Wycombe than he does now he’s been with us months. Concerning.

Blackburn are total toilet though. Would have been annoyed not beating that.

Kone needs to play in and around the box. He has a good touch, can use skill to create space and get passed the marker, but he isn't going to pull away from players from 40 yards out.
